The construction of the footpath from Scott Street pas the Community Centre is still awaiting confirmation of funding..

Report of Shoalhaven Heads Community Forum - Roger Tilley
Roger reported on Development applications - Roger noted that Bushcare and Parkcare groups had to have action plans. The groups in Shoalhaven Heads all have those plans in place. It was noted that work has been done on the railway level crossing at Berry. Also that the Numbaa levy is now being controlled by the Southern Catchment Management Authority.

Shoalhaven Heads Community Centre report
Trevor Aspin advised that he was asked to confirm fees for the centre and had contacted other centre operators to see what they are charging. Shoalhaven Head's charges are comparable with other centres. The committee have purchased a metal edge blade to do the footpath edge with the line trimmer and this has tidied the appearance. Regrettably another two panes of glass were broke over the last month. Again Trevor encouraged community forum members to walk past the centre to maintain a presence and to report any incidents or things they notice.

General Business
1 Congratulations to Marilyn Kellett who was named Berry Volunteer of the Year. Mrs Kellett works with Berry Meals on Wheels, the David Berry Hospital Auxiliary, Berry Red Cross, Berry Masonic Village Auxiliary and the Berry Show Society Ladies Auxiliary and has helped many other organisations over the years.
2 Moved John Greenaway seconded Merrilee Randall that we write a letter of support to Colys for their Seniors Living component of the proposed Shoalhaven Heads Harbour. Carried unanimously.
3 Phillip noted that the next Consultative Community Body group meeting with Shoalhaven Council is to be held on 23 May and that the list of items needs to be finalised. It was agreed that the following:
1. Coolangatta Road - Need to consider maintenance and for safety reasons either centre line or edge lines. Road edges are not being maintained and are being chipped away. Vegetation on edges is allowed to get so high as to create sight interruption.
2. Footpath - need for path from Scott Street through to Community Centre - has this received approval
3. Footpath - still needed in Explorer Boulevard.
4. Parking around Vic Zealand Oval.
5. Road Surface to the Fire Station - behind the Community Centre.
6. Kerb and Guttering to commercial centre - Jerrinja Land Council (private ownership) now have title to the land, which is in the centre of the commercial centre, and these works should be progressed.
7. Storm water drains in River Road - what is the proposed plan. In addition a letter should be written to Council regarding the roundabout at Scott street and Towers Road. This roundabout is difficult to manoeuvre around, has sight encumbrances and a drainage issue. It was also mentioned that a couple of road signs have been graffitied and this should also be advised to Council. - Carried unanimously

4 The raffle was won by Merrilee Randall
