Neighbourhood Watch
Police Report Constable Ray Thomas addressed the meeting and advised that the incident statistics would appear in the newsletter. He advised that a break and enter was missed from the previous months statistics. Ray reminded members to lock their door even when they are in the yard, as intruders will enter even when people are at home. . Information on ways to protect property are at www.police.nsw.gov.au When questioned as to the best action to have additional police attend the area Ray suggested a letter to the NSW police association was recommended.

Report of the Shoalhaven Heads Chamber of Commerce and Tourism - Nil
Report of the Shoalhaven Heads Community and Progress Association.
Roger tabled the Council business papers and outlined the Council progress on items; he mentioned the meeting to be held on 19th September regarding the proposed marina.
Bush care report
Noel Schneider gave a report and encouraged all to assist with the Clean Beach Challenge, as the beach will be inspected on 24 September. Noel outlined the progress of the three groups and mentioned that new members were always welcome.
General Business
1 Greg Montgomery advised that he has successfully trapped 20 Myna Birds.
2 Trevor Aspin then gave a presentation on the proposal by Council for the community to consider the sale of Council controlled recreation land to fund infrastructure projects. A number of residents voiced their concerns over the proposal and the Forum Executive answered their questions, confirming that the decision would be a community decision.
Robert Bell thanked the committee for a very detailed presentation and suggested that the presentation be copied and given to residents. Councillor Gareth Ward proposed that a survey be sent to all Shoalhaven Heads ratepayers.
It was moved by Lorraine Montgomery and Seconded by Dave Riddell that the forum support the suggestion of a full survey and, if required, fund half of the costs of sending out the survey. Carried unanimously.
