ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
5TH SEPTEMBER 2007
HELD AT - SHOALHAVEN HEADS SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB

The President, Philip Armstrong opened the meeting at 7pm and called for the minutes of the 2006 Annual General Meeting to be read. The minutes were read and moved unanimously on a motion by Roger Tilley, seconded by Kevin Huckel.
The Treasurers report was then given:
Opening balance at 31st August 2006 $2323.46, income for the year $417.34, outgoings $722.39, balance 22/8/07 $2018.41.
The treasurer's report was moved by Lorraine Montgomery and seconded by Cec Knight. - Carried unanimously.
Philip Armstrong then gave his Presidents report and spoke of: -
The excellent attendance by forum members over the year.
The valuable support from the NSW police representatives, including Constable Ray Thomas, who works tirelessly to support the police presence in the village.
The successful completion of the Section 94 projects, the footpath from Woolstencraft street to the Surf Club, the improvements to the River Road Reserve, the planting of trees to the town entrance and improvements in the Memorial Park.
The excellent work being done by the Bushcare groups.
The value we have in Councillor Gareth Ward as he brings information from Council and takes on our issues.
The value of the publicity reports which Anne-Louise O'Connor produces in the monthly magazine.
The other members of the committee who contribute to the forum
Our disappointment at not being able to progress the retirement site.
Philip's then moved his report that was seconded by Lorraine Montgomery and accepted unanimously.
Cec Knight then took the chair and declared all positions on the Forum Executive vacant.
The following were then duly nominated and elected:

Treasurer Judy Moate
Publicity Officer Anne-Louise O'Connor
Chamber of Commerce Delegate to be advised by Chamber
Neighbourhood Watch Delegate Greg Montgomery
Progress Association Roger Tilley
Cec Knight then congratulated the nominees and declared the position filled. The position of Chamber of Commerce delegate will put to the next Chamber meeting and a nominee selected.
The Annual General Meeting was then declared closed and the September meeting followed.
